With its bias towards British culture, this course is suitable for students in their early or middle years of secondary education who are interested in a week of intensive English practice, but who would also like to discover more about everyday life in Britain.
During the course a number of aspects of British culture are explored, including home and family life, television, sport and music. Students will also learn how to interpret various forms of body language and why certain codes of behaviour and manners are so important to the British.
Students will enjoy participating in numerous fun activities in English, including simulations, role plays and information sharing tasks. They will even have an opportunity to design their own school uniform and will compete against each other in the great British picture quiz!
For learners who want a week of communicative language practice, but with a strong cultural element, this is the perfect course. It is also a strong option for intermediate level classes who may have already taken a general English course and would like a week that incorporates a range of different topics and content.
