This is our entry level business English course, and is suitable for students in the middle or later years of secondary school, or those at vocational school who are interested in gaining basic ‘survival skills’ in English for work or travel.
The course incorporates office English, including form-filling, making appointments, telephone skills, note taking, describing products and services, and giving basic presentations in English. Participants will also learn survival skills for travel, including carrying out bank transactions abroad, making hotel reservations, interpreting signs and symbols, and asking for directions.
The aim of the course is to develop learners’ ability to talk about themselves, their work and their company, and the language and to practise the skills that will allow them to function at a basic level within an English-speaking office environment or when travelling.
This course is a great option for students who want to practise and develop their communication skills for travel or the world of work.
