Course Summary

This course is designed to support students as they prepare for the new Matura exam. Whether they are just starting out with their Matura studies, or are only a few weeks away from the exam, this course can tailored to suit the level and needs of each individual group.

The core modules focus on a range of speaking skills and strategies, from turn-taking, to using discourse markers, to confidently fielding questions. The optional modules allow for extra speaking practice, or for more focus on other elements of the exam, such as Reading, Listening or Use of English. Each module lasts for five lessons, with one lesson per day. We strongly recommend that you choose at least one of the workshop modules.

Suitability

In addition to being ideal for Matura students, the course can be tailored to cater for school leaving exams in a range of countries, or for students taking international English examinations such as Cambridge FCE.

Content

There are three core modules, which are compulsory, and nine optional modules, of which you can select three. Each module lasts for five lessons, with one lesson per day.
