Off-Site Residential Courses

An increasingly popular way of benefitting from an EIA course and having some extra fun is to incorporate it into a residential week away from school. We provide the English tuition and leave you free to concentrate on organising, sports, activities or visits with your students. It’s a chance to learn in a different location, away from the stresses and strains of school!

Most countries have a wealth of Hostels and Activity Camps that offer week long programmes for groups and we have had great success working with schools to provide the educational component of these trips.

Off-site courses are becoming a very popular alternative to bringing English in Action to your school and fit very comfortably with our philosophy that children learn best when they are physically and mentally active in a relaxed environment.

Case Study: Weitenmoos Youth Hotel

St. Johann im Pongau, Austria

English in Action, in collaboration with Weitenmoos, provide a full EIA course from Monday to Friday which includes Sports lessons in English run by our specially chosen, sporty, athletic EiA teachers! Weitenmoos Jugend Hotel, located high in the mountains in Oberalpendorf, approx 40 minutes from Salzburg, has a variety of classrooms and facilities for running both indoor and outdoor sports and activities as well as cultural excursions.

Case Study: Albergue Interjoven Constantina

Set in the Sierra Norte, some 70 kms north of Seville Albergue Inturjoven Constantina has provided the ideal location for activity weeks that include an EIA course.

Students from Andalucía have been able to make the most of a fun and entertaining week in the Andalucian countryside and improve their English in a relaxed and controlled environment.
